Well after the Jet Star flight (notable for its $10 a Kg extra luggage surcharge. Total $180.00) we found the Taxi, it looked good and large with plenty of capacity for bikes and intrepid cyclists. Gary's imitating the sale of the century look at the prizes stance made popular by many shortly to be footballers wives.
Not my best side but you get a idea of how much space was actually required to fit four boxed up bikes and all our kit that did not make it to the support vehicle. Gary's bike is being loaded here, not sure how he had managed to load the only fully suspended bike into the smallest box.
This is how gary fitted his bike into the puny box, 1000 piece jigsaw. He even had the tyres removed to save more space. Took him about 15 mins to get the bike out of the box and assembled to the basic level. He saved the rest till after breakfast the next day.
