Day Eight. Glenora to New Norfolk.

The Glenora camp site by day. Pretty good other than the water treatment plant running close by. I did not notice it or the overnight deluge.

Steve with the sling, a horrific amount of shoulder bruising but no broken bones.

The road trip begins and the peleton combobulates on the road to New Norfolk. I was a pity to wind up taking the road like so may before us but we were out of time. The flights home were set along with the return to work.
More of that scenery stuff even on the road you could not miss it.
A reflective moment? The end of the trip and turning 48 on the trail almost only a couple more Km's to Hobart tomorrow.
Just as I'm drifting off Andrew arrives with the birthday cake came as at bit of a shock!

The whole cycling bunch at the almost end of the trail. Right to left Andrew, Steve, Me, David and David.

Snack over we get down to setting up camp. The professional gray nomads in the back ground were most amused. Phase one get the camper in place.
Phase two crack the roof and get the extension shades on one cyclist each corner and its done in about a minute.
Phase three lift the roof and tie it all down.

Phase four nail the ez-up down. Head off to the shower for a rinse then off to the Pub for tea.
